There are a lot of negative posts on here but at my store we are thinking of ways to make work fun again. Like when he have a happy customer we have helped we ask them to make an announcement over are walkers about the great service they received. It makes the customers feel special and our associates love it too. We also started writing out note cards of satisfied customers and then we take them home to share with our families. We write our families reaction on the back and bring them back to work to share in the huddles. All the positive energy is really pumping up morale.

we used to post positive customer reviews on a board in the office; i think we stopped doing that about 3 or 4 years ago
the store manager sets the vibe in the store, and there aren't many left who know what they're doing or give two craps about picking everyone up
The OPs store has the customer use the walkie? I agree it is a great idea to spread compliments but letting the customers use the walkie?
Sc--w that cr-p give me more money keep your applause to yourself .
I love it!! I always acknowledge when a guest gives a compliment on a associate over the walkie. I tell the guest I’m giving a shout out for great service. The employees love it. Not only service but when you see them doing something great I give a shout out over the walkie. Hopefully it helps with morale and encourages others to follow! Keep up the great work it sounds like your a positive force in your store!
You must work for Drake's Fruit Pies and posted on the wrong site.
Call me cynical..but IDK if your post is real. Sounds like you are joking Especially the walkie part. And the customers feeling special. But I do think morale building ideas are great
