Polos......who even wears these? Heres a good idea have your receiving staff dress this way and make them pay for their shirts that will be destroyed and dirty their first 2 hours of their shift. Yes those boxes are clean said the office person thats making these rules sitting on their couch whom i may add has never worked at the store level ever. Heres an idea to think about on your couch. When you introduce a new line of kitchen gadgets how about a lesson from Oxo big mistake of plastic everything. Why dont you just bag those individually and make them detail check.......oh wait you did! Good idea

You are joking about the ladders and aprons, right? Makes one wonder if people are smarter or just more coordinated at Lowes and Home Depot because they seem to manage wearing an apron and use ladders AND forklifts all the time!

So excited for the dress code change. They used to wear aprons years ago and they loved them. The aprons and ladders was never a issue before. The pockets give you a place for pens, paper and tc-52.
When I walk into a World Market or Buy Buy Baby the staff looks so professional. I think it’s a great change! Keep the changes coming we need to move forward.

Aprons lasted about 10 minutes when they tried it last time. Am I supposed to go out and purchase a whole new wardrobe now? Can we choose colors any more drab and how can khakis not be allowed but a man can wear a tie. Can't wait for the first tie accident.

Can someone explain what the dress code is?

it could be worse, pretty much every major retailer has some dress code, and usually it doesn't include jeans, so that's a plus

i'm more amused at all the cosmetic changes the company keeps making, instead of addressing the actual issues that are making this company fail

What is the new dress code? Does this apply for BABY too? Haven’t heard anything about a new dress code here.

I have to change 80% of my clothes because I look better in Green sometimes vs Grey!! 😩😠 Don’t mind blue...but we are NOT Target!!

At least Target had me wearing Kakais. I think they almost WANT us wearing jeans with this new code!! Really?!??

The apron doesn’t p––s me off. I can live with it. It’s the color code bull c––p that I’m very upset over!!

A new dress code for the few customers that trickle into our stores and not buy anything to see. Very important change.

It's fine. When I heard there was going to be a new dress code, I was afraid we'd have to dress like we were going into a business meeting which my first store was like. Not fun especially as a receiver. The apron is fine and helpful. I've worn them before. We have a manager that wears one everyday and he's up and down the ladder everyday so the argument that it will get caught doesn't hold up. Any store with an HBC knows they wear aprons, or at least did, and have no issue.
I'm surprised there are actual stores that wear an ear piece. Not one single person does in our store. No one cares. Just like when they told us we needed to wear the new masks, we didn't. Our DM doesn't give a hoot and doesn't say anything.

It is very s-xist. If you look at the examples you can wear a soft checked shirt but no florals. The apron is definitely going to be a hazard just like the wire that goes to the ear piece of the TC52. I have snagged so many because of the ladder and got reprimanded because I broke too many wires! Definitely some team working from home who never worked in a store thought this nonsense up.
Good luck every one. This dress code is definitely going to save BBB.

The dress code change seemed expected given that corporate is trying to change as much as possible to give the store a different feel and outlook. Though the apron’s seem like a hazard and I can see them going away from it given the amount of times all of us have to go up and down a ladder.

So what am I wearing now?
Solid blue shirt or blouse
No patterns or prints of any kind
Nothing printed on the front
And what is that lady wearing?

I am not wearing an apron on a ladder! That’s one more thing to get caught on a ladder and not safe.
I Already have to have a scanner and merchandise in my hand so adding an apron is just dangerous!

So we match the color scheme of the store.

If they are making you wear an apron why has such a strict dress code with such limited color options. I like the no wrinkles and clean concept.
