Preference coming for L&D

L&D is going to have to preference similar to the Frontline. I truly believe this means more cutting, so buckle up folks. Once they get final head counts for Frontline folks, then more cuts for training/ developers. We will need to align with... — read more

Ohio was the BEST. We WERE the Call Center. DUBLIN!

Layoffs each month

Somebody mentioned that we can most likely expect smaller layoffs at the end of each month until the end of the year. What are the chances this is true? I'm getting tired of stressing over layoffs all the time and this would be exactly what I don't... — read more

Outsourcing

I’ve already noticed a decline in customer service quality since they have ramped down call volume for internal reps and ramped up volume for vendors. Many vendors give you a fake name then when you ask for their uswin many don’t even know what it... — read more

Kickers and commissions

Our store is ki-ling it with the new comp plan. Traffic is slow yet the kickers are easy to attain and many of us will probably hit 225% of our individual kicker quota. Nice to be able to make money again! Thanks Verizon! Good stuff happening. ... — read more

20+ Directors in VCG CX

There are 20+ directors in CX and still the website/app sucks. It keeps on having production issues on regular basis. Lots of flows are broken and are not defined properly. Overall experience is very outdated. There is one director for each page... — read more

El Paso Call Center

Our Sups were extra cool and we had the best lunch spots. I miss it too. I lived close. That was a good job.

Anyone from my home state call center here? I worked there 7 years ago. I liked it.

Bellevue - Forever Bellevue

Our Call Center was the goods. Plus, we had the hotel restaurant and bar in the same parking lot. We also had Starbucks. Our management was super mellow.

Loud Layoff

Since metric don't matter at all anymore, my goal is to issue as many credits as possible to every person. Adding promos, waiving fees, crediting a full month of service. You want to throw us out? Let me take you down too.

WFM WAS THE BEST CALL CENTER

Wtf do you all keep posting about your former call centers like it was your HS crush? You sound RIDICULOUS to everyone else facing layoffs. Stfu. Reminisce about your former glory days on Reddit or form a group me. This is for layoff information... — read more

VZW North Charleston!

Sorry brothers and sisters. North Charleston was the best VZW center around. I miss it. I miss being a part of the group. By the way, I listened in on my sister's cs call to Verizon. You can tell it was a third party rep. They were struggling with... — read more

Available Time

Anyone else been having 20 min in between calls the last few days?

Franklin, TN - Even Better

Sorry Utah and Chandler. Franklin was laid back and fun. We had good supervisors too. I miss the call center environment. I worked in Albuquerque for a while. They were mellow as well.

Wish I never had kids

This is my third layoff in 4 years. I have student loan debt, medical debt, credit card debt and now I'm jobless with 3 kids. Making matters worse my rent just went up $480 per month (no upgrades). Learn from my mistakes be debt free, keep cost ultra... — read more

The metrics are laughable

Every metric is a joke, there is 4 reporting sites that give you 4 different outcomes. VHI is a joke, customer could come to the store and there is a banner, same customer could come back 2 weeks later and another banner, it hurts you to access... — read more

Feels amazing to see my sup get the axe

Micromanaging see you next Tuesday acted like she signed the checks and they came from her account. Did alllllllll that brown nosing just to get canned lmao. Funny moment finding out she was just as disposable as the rest of us 🤣🤣🤣

Good bye and good riddance to Krista Bourne

Transition payment

Anyone read the transition payment agreement that we have to sign if we want the $5k? There is a clause stating we waive rights to participate in multi-party litigation.

Take the severance and run.

I left Verizon at the end of 2018 after 17 years. Taking the severance and bailing was the best thing I've ever done. Not having the daily stress over whether or not your job is going to be eliminated is worth the temporary (potential) reduction in... — read more
