Hans destroyed every telecom company he was at and he’s doing it at VZW.

Hans was hired to slice and dice, and be unpopular. It was part of the plan and that’s why they got someone with an awful track record. Once he’s done mu---ring the internal departments he’s out and someone else will be brought in to actually try to put out all the fires this type of stone squeezing creates.

My guess is they’re hoping for a buyout because no company can survive the type of culture issues, brain drain, and long term problems they’re creating with the short sighted decisions.

We need an American CEO, not some clueless woke lefty money-loser who has no idea what he’s doing.

He’s out alright, out of his depth. Makes Lowell look competent.

No Telco can keep operating on the model of “our network, our network.” It isn’t sustainable and the world has moved on. A strategy to become more than connectivity has to be implemented or Verizon isn’t relevant.

Eventually every CEO will leave whether by choice or not. Then all the “I told you so” people will come out LOL.

It's coming. No way he stays after 5 years of consistent drop in stock.
VZ barely made it through this quarter by raising prices but you cannot keep doing that as a strategy. They have no more rabbits to pull out of the hat.

I hope his replacement will continue to prioritize social justice initiatives and invest in people for equity reasons rather than the network .
