Seems everyone is elevated but the managers. They would rather micromanage the sale than do the proper elevate behaviors and check people in at the door like they should. Hey verizon maybe get your managers to trust the reps to do their jobs. Then if they aren't talk to them about it like a normal employer.

Our old director in gulf states always held the managers accountable for not being on the floor. Leadership is non existence since Verizon 2.0. Please come back!
Management cannot be involved in every sale. In a utopia, sure, but that is not reality or always possible. Yes, they should jump in when needed, but leadership should be developing their sales people to be effective. If a manager has to be involved in every sale, there is a number of problems. Inability to teach, micromanagement mentality, or perhaps the specialist is not motivated or able to do the job, or has not been given the tools. Some sales definitely require leadership to jump in to help, but your store leadership cannot be married to a sale for very long or a specific rep every time. There is a store to run snd multiple sales going on.
Effective leadership involves empowering your team so that multiple sales are going on simultaneously ,the leader is able to touch base with every sale and guest, and the results come.

I would like to point out, that is not something only management deals with. The reps deal with that as well. I would also point out it is their job to elevate just as much as the reps. Don't point fingers and make excuses for something happening everywhere right now. Managers could do less over the shoulder listening, and more with the rep and customer selling. Be an active manager and not just an active listener. I know it takes work and it's hard but that is the managements job as well. Also with an active manager, they have don't have to work as hard to hear what the reps have to say since they are already INVOLVED. Thanks for proving the point.
Management are getting it right now. They change metrics every month and week. bio to focus on stuff that doesn't pay us and have 15 other metrics to worry about. Like add a line quotes. It's coming from the top, blaming your AM is shortsighted
