For those who were RIFed this year, what were the terms of the severance package? How did they determine the payout?

Calc is annual salary + incentive or commission target annualized / 52 * # of weeks eligible. If you are STI elig you will also receive a prorated STI plus any unused, accrued vacation (and personal days in certain states)
standard package below director is 2 weeks per year of service maxed at 35 weeks.

It was probably Big Red's standard offer if two weeks pay for every year of service up to thirty-five or six weeks.
