If you were a CIO, would you bet your career and reputation on recommending Teradata to the CEO?

What's the change Ayman skirted around during today's town hall? Solutions and teams moving "out of the Core". He is waiting for a recommendation from "the team". His way of putting a WFR blame on others since he is going to follow "the teams" recommendation.

If you are in a role where you are not direct to consumer your position in jeopardy, or something with building AI or enhancing AI technology your position will soon be obsolete. Those jobs where you can hide and coast those days are over! I encourage everyone to find roles where you can track your progress and show your impact stay close to the customer.Don’t work yourself out of a job by fixing everything is my recommendation just word to the wise.

Well I woke up feeling uncertain about the future but then I wrote “Verizon doesn’t care about me” on a post-it and i immediately felt better. I recommend it to my colleagues. I will look at that post-it every morning now

"The Company Men" (2010)
It was made after the 2008 financial crisis, but honestly it feels like it could've been written in 2026. A lot of the dialogue is almost verbatim what many of us are hearing now. Very relatable.
Was recommended by another ex-Citi'er. It is free on Amazon Prime and several other streaming services. Worth the watch.

In an email manager recommended to take PTO, CEUs, equipment reimbursement, etc. early in the year (2026). More worries.

A coworker claimed their boss recommended looking for a new role.
Can’t say the BU or team as that would create a problem for me.

My company is hiring but I would not recommend anyone from Verizon for any position. They all have the wrong mentality.
