Wow, that is spectacular downfall. And I have heard from my retail sources that Hoka and On has slowed a lot.

This is perfect storm of economy, fatigue by consumers with same styles and lack of design direction in the industry.

For next round of upswing in the industry, the answer is TIME. And it might take a while and it might have to start level that way lower than now.
And in meantime, there could be a lot more pain including downsizing and layoffs etc.

Is there honestly a market for these? The design is pretty rough. Why are our competitors lapping us on product aesthetics? I'm not even talking about IGT & Aristocrat... I'm talking about AGS, Bluberi and Zitro, smaller players.

I'm seeing new jobs being posted in the design departments but I was told that hiring was on freeze or just being prioritized. The new roles I'm seeing are similar to ones that have been frozen and still posted.

Come on, it been years since FP put out a great toy! Not sure who’s running design, but they should be held responsible.

Nike is so desperate on product innovation. Nike basketball’s senior-most designer copied the Harden franchise in the Nike GT Future releasing now.

Today’s car buyers market is mostly made up of trailer trash, dregs, welfare queens, serial shoplifters, crackheads, alcoholics, me-h heads, basically your all around gutter trash.
So what does Ford need vehicles wise to get these losers into Ford Dealers to buy a car?

saying 'design is our north star' while utterly gutting OB sends the opposite signal to both our teams & guests... this can work a bit, but eventually this will cost us big time. i do not want to rant about this too much as today is a very difficult day for many but i am just saying that this will sink us even deeper and it will trigger even more layoffs.

I heard a rumor about owned brands and am wondering peoples thoughts. I know everything is rumor so who knows but I heard owned brands design may be very impacted. Has anyone else heard anything?

New building has so many wide open spaces, but no practical place to do work. Why can't every desk have an ergonomic chair and monitors? Pretty sure the couches, benches and cushy chairs outnumber the actual workstations.

Looks like a new logo is rolling out across the mobile apps and it's so ugly. Major downgrade.
