Hi gang - question for those who may know or who may have heard anything…. What are the impacts looking like for internal US base call centers? I have heard they want to close or consolidate OFFSHORE/GLOBAL CENTERS, but have not heard anything here about the centers here in the US?
What roles may be impacted? Senior manager? Director? Team manager? Coaches? Would love to hear some credible responses.

Network equipment provider Nokia plans to close its Munich site by 2030. According to the IG Metall, over 700 employees in Munich alone are affected by the decision. What do you honestly spend more time doing every day, trying to sell anything or fixing the same simple problems for seniors over and over again? At some point it becomes pretty clear what the store has actually turned into, and that makes the whole closure feel less like a surprise and more like an overdue decision. We've basically ended up acting like a walk in help desk for the senior crowd instead of an actual retail location, and once that becomes the main part of the job, the writing’s already on the wall.
With stores closing it doesn’t look good for r2b. Will they move them out of stores or RIFd entirely?

Just had a meeting with director and supervisor . Salisbury, MD, Dover De, Hampton Roads and Richmond Call centers are being shut down. Wireline fios customer service in Silver Spring is where we can go and return to office. We can take the package or relocate there. 90 days! The package is nice but people are upset
