Has anyone, in any part of Verizon, received additional info about the reorg or how it will directly impact them, since the Hans call on Monday?
What will be the final number?
There is so much speculation about how many people will be gone by the end of this reorganization, and it's all over the place. I've seen and heard people predict anywhere from 10 to more than 40 percent of employees being let go between the... — read more
What is health insurance like on the standard package?
Is it 2 weeks per year up to six months, or is it totally self-funded with COBRA?
Throw us a bone!
Is there any executive out there that has a little heart? Throw us something to help us make a life changing decision!!! This is almost worse than a RIF, we’re basically being asked to tap ourselves on the shoulder. We already know that big changes... — read more

VSP D-Day Almost Here
Here’s one final warning from those in the know in BR, take the VSP. Winter is coming! Major RIFs in 1Q19 for those still in shrinking areas of the business. Severance will not match the VSP in any sense. Unemployment at record lows, so VSP is the... — read more
Are we going back to the drawing board?

Talent Hubs?
What the hell is a “Talent Hub”?
Why is everyone so internally focused. What about the customers?
Has anyone thought what happens to the clients implementing a telecom solution and the resources to implement, bill, install, etc. when these are no longer there? What of clients who lose their account teams and have no one to call Jan. 1? I am sure... — read more
Nobody is safe
I'm not sure if I find people who are convinced they are safe from this whole reorganization thing sad or amusing. Honestly, how can somebody witness what they have for the past several years when it comes to RIFs at Verizon and believe they are... — read more
When do we get the rest of our $
From the tax breaks. We got part in stock. I thought we got the rest in cash in January? Anyone?
Should Verizon admit that they got it wrong with Oath?
It doesn’t take a scientist to conclude that Oath is failing on the market and that it’s more and more underperforming as time goes on. The basic premise that Oath should compete with Facebook and Google on the advertising market is now looking like... — read more
Mass Store Closings Coming (Q1 2019)
Indirect and nationals will take up the slack. Get them resumes ready and I hope you're not the sole income provider for your household working retail. A rude awakening is coming for all of retail in the near near future. GLTA
When will we know more details?
It's really annoying knowing this huge change is coming but have barely any details at all. We know pretty much everybody will be affected in some way, so it would be nice to find out how sooner rather than latter. Any ideas on when we might finally... — read more

No. The company has changed in a few short months. The culture is going to be different which is okay, but will be an enormous change from the stable boring and steady company run by blue suits. Those days are gone. If you have been here a while I... — read more
Is 44k employees a real number ???
Think about the magnitude of that number. 44k employees. That’s over 20-25 percent of the whole company including associates. If your in management you have a 1 in 4 chance your gone anyway you slice or dice it. Crazy

Verizon Reorg
The whole point of bringing wireline and wireless together is to get rid of wireline reps. Think about it if you cross train all reps. Wireless can sell fios products in all stores.Plus the reps can take the calls and you cut high paid wireline reps... — read more

Reorg
Any guesses on how the reorg May affect indirect locals and nationals?
Verizon wireless and landline retail ?
So is it safe to assume that all wireless retail stores will sell landline products starting in January?
What is happening with WIRELINE?
What will happen with wireline CSSC?
So when wil the next RIF come?
Folks have until 11/17 to recant VSP so i’m assuming it will come after 11/17. Anyone knows when rif will be announced? It will be brutal to get laid off right before thanksgiving
Reasons for staying?
Has anything or anyone since 9/24 when the VSP was offered given you a good reason to NOT volunteer?
MCI 2.0

Business and Consumer

The initial rumor for weeks was 3 weeks per year, no cap.
Maybe they decided to see how many takers they could get with 60 weeks. I think this was a "lets see what happens". Like buying a house, the seller wants 400. you offer 380, they say no you want the house, you pay 400. We all know who they want gone... — read more
