"Teammates", leave Truist as soon as you can. There is so much more opportunity out there. You deserve to be happy!
Branches
How long before all branches are closed?
Why so much middle management?
Most of them are completely unnecessary in my opinion.
Personal goals
I can't wrap my head around why setting personal goals is necessary here. It's like we're going through the motions without any real purpose. What's the point of putting in all this effort to improve our performance when it doesn't even seem to... — read more
Truist cares
There’s a running saying among RSBB teammates and it goes like this. Truist cares, but I’m still trying to figure out what they care about. Truist cares about one thing, job ambiguity, new expectations weekly that you never agreed to, outsourcing... — read more
Is Truist stock a good buy at this level?
If they are as conservative as BB&T once once, they should not be impacted too much by the banking crisis.
You should always be prepared
The atmosphere can be cut with a kn--e but some are still convinced that they are safe. What makes people feel that way? Isn't it very obvious that bad times are coming? It's good to hope for the best, but you should always be prepared for the... — read more

How are those rsu’s looking sycophants?
SunTruist stock will be
20$ per share by Friday. Down 13.5% this week. After hours trading down 5% already. Market cap down to 37.5 billion. We may be the next biggest bank to fail. BBT shareholders paid 62$ per share for this fiasco. Unfingbelieveable!
We all know layoffs will happen
So how and where will they be able to reduce headcount by 3 percent or more. C suite will be in a panic after this weeks 10 percent drop in stock price and it’s only Tuesday.
Offshore teams are ki-ling us
They never get anything correct and it is a hassle trying to communicate with them between the language barrier and time differences. I know I am not the only one that feels this way
One billion invested in first republic
Are they getting that back, or did they throw it in the street? Someone will probably get rif’d for yet another mgmt error
Reputation destroyed
It is very easy to destroy a reputation and I think our leadership has done just that. I'm embarrassed to tell people I still work here. I wonder if they even think about the reputation of this place, are they aware of how tarnished it is and will... — read more

More to come
The merger was ruinous. This was done sloppily, and the results scream poor planning. Leadership doesn’t care, the bank’s reputation is in the gutter and there is no clarity on roles and responsibilities. BB&T destroyed all that was good at SunTrust... — read more
RIFT Not a Total Surprise
After 12 years with BBT/Truist, I was RIFTed this week. My technology team lost 1/3 of our technical talent, including me. I'm not bitter or angry. It's Corporate America. I've been preparing for this day since the merger was announced, both... — read more

I was a Branch Leader in Columbia, SC. The "leadership" at Truist is terrible, especially the regional leadership. Truist "cares" about their quarterly earnings and not about their branch level employees. There is so much opportunity out there! Life... — read more
Region Consolidation ??
I have worked at both organizations. I am surprised after the Suntrust takeover that there are still as many regions and layers. With cost cutting initiatives running rampant, is anyone hearing a flattening of the org structure and region count?
