I wonder if the BCG psychos sang "Hit the Road Jack" to joke about our RIFs?

I wonder how much Truist could save if they had an EL capable of understanding the work needed to run a bank and able to build effective teams— this is exactly why BCG was called in. How much is Truist paying them and why is that expense OK when they are cutting so many people.

Having been through it with BCG a few times, they are basically spreadsheet managers. BCG will help set the targets and provide someone for EL to shift the blame, but the bank is the one actually making the decisions…BCG just tracks

No offense intended but BCG has bunch of 25 year olds running around with analytics and zero real world. But they are no different than most consulting groups and majority are awful.

I worked elsewhere when I heard about the name “Truist” and was like “what the heck is Truist?!” Stupid name, stupid purple color and even worse the horrible “artwork” that thankfully didn’t filter down to all the branches. My co-worker said “you ought to have seen the other choices that made Truist the best option.”

I rarely hear anything positive about BCG, or any of the other high paid consultants. In my experience, EL already has a “plan” and just brings in BCG and others to “justify” the decision.

Interbrand leveraged the power of cross-generational teams to develop the Truist brand name, strategy, verbal & visual identity, and rollout.

Reminds me of the movie where George Clooney was consultant paid to RIF people.

Do you think BCS’s motto is “destroy lives and communities to maximize shareholder value”

This is the same company that spent millions to come up with name Truist. Nobody should be shocked they continue to waste money on consultants who make the bank a hellhole.
