Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

I have a feeling by the end of the year, Truist stock will be under $20 a share.

Thoughts?

To say we have to sell insurance to pass the stress test is very specific. Is this something you KNOW or is it just speculating?

A takeover packaged a merger is a distinct possibility especially as the stock continues to decline. Insurance companies will have to be sold to pass December stress test, once the cash flow from that line of business is gone it's a race to the bottom.
BBT made the bulk of the revenue as well as profits from insurance.

Great perspectives from these replies. Does anyone think another merger is in their near future?

Likely to bounce between 20 and 30$ as the short sellers will make a fortune bouncing it, but all bets are off if they have to cut dividend. A lot of assets are being sold to shore up liquidity and new business is non existent. That will bite us in the ar-e at some point.

That's better than my fear we'll be the next Lehman Brothers.
