Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Displacement Program @ Truist?

For Truist workers impacted by layoffs, does Truist offer a program giving RIF’d workers access to internal job postings to be able to apply for stronger re-hire opportunities?

Be sure to read your severance benefits to understand the implications of accepting or rejecting another position if RIF’d.

LHH can be a tool to help hold yourself accountable during the search but you are going to do 100% of the work but you just ask a friend, a pastor, or the state employment agency to do that. They may give you a few ideas, found on internet, but it's all about your effort. They should include LinkedIn premium to make it more helpful.

It will not be easy but it's doable.

LHH helps with revamping resumes and talking you thru getting a new job. In my experience it wasn’t much help. Applying thru careers on workday and just staying on top of the recruiters was most helpful for me. They are super slow with scheduling interviews so don’t expect anything over night.

It's a worthless company. Doomed to close operations sooner or later at this pace.

Seriously? Why would you want to work for a company that just laid you off and would do it again without a thought?. The CEO, leadership team and BOD only care about themselves.
