Centralized process?
I have read a number of threads regarding embracing change and how a centralized process can and has worked at other schools. I have been at schools that effectively implemented a centralized process and I agree, it worked just fine. However, the... — read more
Disorganized and Dysfunctional
I have been with Ex'pression for several years and have experienced various changes from market downfall, to passing of the Founder and several management changes. This "takeover" by SAE is embarrassingly disorganized. From the change in people, who... — read more
Where is the policy on faculty credentials?
I'm being told I may not have the right background for my position for accreditation. So I'm trying to find the policy on what credentials are required.
Any ideas when/ if Ex'pression will be accredited by ACICS
I heard other campuses at SAE were still ACCSC. It would be helpful to know as it affects how we report and what to focus on.
Curious...
I've never been to a school with only one finance person before...just saying, who thought of that? Is this helping SAE? What about students?
Can someone point me in the right direction to the policy section of Confluence?

Dime Short, and a Day Late... Literally
Notice how certain US management are being overly nice and responding now that the new CEO is there and they've been outed? This month should be full of Kum ba ya. At this point, put away the disingenuous comments when you finally answer emails or... — read more
How Open a Discussion can we truly have during these visits....
Without truly knowing who to trust. I have a fear of being too frank in fear of retaliation. When the interim CEO visits this month, can I really be that open?
Heads Up: if there are two of you, one May be let go (unless you're in admissions)
I overheard that there may still be a smaller layoff for reorg. That includes people at the Group level and campus still. Except for Admissions, positions in faculty, Lab Suppies, FA, Career Services and administrative... If there are two of you in... — read more

Does anyone know the roll out schedule of the Music Business program at each campus? Or will we be laying off MB faculty?
We have been in the dark and hear that it may not happen or we may get rid of the program.
Does anyone know if all of FA or Student Accounts will eventually go away?
Just want to be prepared.
Exercise Emotional Intelligence
Visits are coming this month. Please exercise emotional intelligence. Be hopeful. SAE US must rise above this.

The Five Dysfunctions of a Team...

It was a nice gesture that calmed us for a few days. But what's going on with the rest of this "restructuring" that they are talking about. What else is going to get centralized in Miami under Jerry?
