Thread regarding SAE Institute (formerly the School of Audio Engineering) layoffs

How Open a Discussion can we truly have during these visits....

Without truly knowing who to trust. I have a fear of being too frank in fear of retaliation. When the interim CEO visits this month, can I really be that open?

I don't trust anyone that made the decisions to cut key depts. on campus that affect the student without having at least first coming to each campus to see first hand how things work and how things don't work and then making a layoff position. How can you trust a person that has a knee jerk reaction to money being loss or budgets exceeding and then just cut cut cut.....then they want to come over to visit the campuses?

I'm going to share where I think, how I think we could be better based on past years experience with communication and processes

He should also meet individuality with the Group members (below management level). Or reach out to the people who were laid off... They have nothing to lose and will be pretty honest I'd think. Or pissed and may go overboArd. But I think they'd be honest.

Mr Anthonyysz seemed cool and very interested. Miss the time if ever to explain to him all your thoughts.

I know what you mean. I hear he is speaking to everyone on campus. I know I may bite my tongue just to play it safe. Unfortunately, he will not get the full gist of the issues we have with US management.
