Apparently money has been majorly mismanaged. Positions were eliminated that were supposed to be handled by the group office, but so far we aren't seeing that the group is picking up any of the slack. SAE has made some major mistakes, and because of that, positions that were actually needed have been eliminated, but all of the same tasks are still needing to be done. This is detrimental to the students. I heard that the people that are still left on the campuses are having to pick up the strain, which is ridiculous. Some of the offices, I know, that were already so strained, ie finance, are now left to handle the extra workloads that our forced absence has caused. The group office is going to be doing this? Good luck with that. When I was there, they wouldn't even bother responding to an email to answer a question, and why? Because they don't know the answers! They really let the wrong people go. They don't know what all has to be done in some of these departments. I feel sorry for the people left, good luck friends!

I heard that they planned this layoff for some time. They were growing the structure then planned to rid of the old structure. If they knew thus all along, they should have provided people warning or a heads up. This was the complete wrong way of doing this
Campuses are now suffering because of these decisions. We just took a step back. I know we'll pull through, but this all could have been avoided.

You're right......whoever the Genius (and yes I'm being sarcastic) is who decided who goes and who stays I will bet my first unborn child on.....they did it knowing NOTHING.....NOTHING about who really WORKS and who just shows up to get a check. Damn shame too because these are suppose to be the SMART ONES with all the wisdom.....apparently not. The GENIUS who simply looked at a spreadsheet or some other paperwork and came up with who will go and stay showed how OUT OF TOUCH with the reality on the ground who really works and who does not. Because if they REALLY had a clue.......MYSELF and others would still be working. But the GENIUS will soon realize what an idiot He/She is when they see the collapse of the campuses and the inability of the folks they left to really do any work whatsoever. GOOD JOB GENIUS BOSS(ES) WHO FIRED FOLKS BASED ON NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF PAPER!!!!! GOD FORBID YOU VISITED THE CAMPUSES TO SEE FIRST HAND WHO WORKS, HOW THINGS REALLY WORK BEFORE DECIDING WHO TO FIRE AND WHO TO KEEP BECAUSE DOING SO WOULD BE TOO MUCH LIKE WORK AND THAT'S SOMETHING YOU EITHER FORGOT HOW TO DO OR WANTED TO DO.
