No I don't think they will go to an online school......they can't be that dumb (hopefully they aren't). I think what they are doing is trying to squeeze a nickel out of a penny. They will demand more work from us and still pay these low wages. All they are doing is what most for profit schools have already done....demand MORE, expect ALOT and we should expect NOTHING. That should be the new SAE motto actually.
How is this really going to work? Like an online school? Is that what we are now?
I heard Nashville has no FA person......laid off. I heard Atlanta had 3 and got rid of 2 so now they have 1
We have 1 person processing. Do all campuses have at least one? Or are there any campuses where all FA is handled by Miami HQ?
Like that one person said; YOU WILL GET NO WARNING!!!!!!!! Why would they warn you? Warning you isn't what this company is about yet if you find another job they expect you to give them a 2 week notice. The only warning you will have is when they call you into a conference room with some far distance guy (Will) on the other end to let you know your services are no longer needed.......that's it
You know, I'm understanding of change.. but at least they should keep us informed. Is Admissions going to minimize to bare bones? They already have a call center. Or Career Services? Are they going to try and place students from Miami? I'm sure local employers like dealing with call centers. Soon, we'll be doing academics online. Where's the personal touch?
It seems to be the way they are heading. The people who were laid off got NO warning. Group isn't going to give you a heads up. Start looking if you haven't already.
Havent heard anything, but maybe they'll finally tell us that this is the direction we're going in.
