Thread regarding SAE Institute (formerly the School of Audio Engineering) layoffs

Any ideas when/ if Ex'pression will be accredited by ACICS

I heard other campuses at SAE were still ACCSC. It would be helpful to know as it affects how we report and what to focus on.

Then he fits right in. I think that's a pre-requisite to be an SAE Group employee

From my experience so far, I'm not banking on communication or direction. I JUST found out that SAE let go of their main Compliance person. The new guy is ok, but definitely overwhelmed. He knows nothing about ACCSC.

There is no one anymore who us driving this initiative. Most all the individuals who had experience in this, compliance, academics, placement were laid off. So sadly, there is no clear direction on how this will happen.

What about Ex'pression? We are in limbo as to how to move forward.

New York, Chicago and Nashville are all ACCSC but they have had their initial visits with ACICS to try to make the move. If/when ACICS approves each school, which they should know in January, then it has to go to the Dept of Ed for approval before its final and they can fully switch.
