So if I was to buy back shares of my company which is better? 1 share at $62 per share or 1 share at $44 per share? Now if a company gives a dividend of .64 per share per quarter is it better to buy at $44 per share or $62 per share? Hummmmmm..... — read more

Talented and skilled employees

Everyone generally thinks that they are the best and that other employees are less talented. However, honestly, what would you say about how many knowledgeable and skilled employees still remain in this company?

New Verizon shirts

After one wash and in the dryer the Verizon logo is peeling off. You just can’t make this stuff up.

Any other stores open to only 5pm

Just curious if any stores out there have recently changed and are only open 1 shift 9-5 , and if so what was the reasoning you were told for change? amd what area are you in?

Stock price

The reason for all these changes is due to fact warren Buffett pulled out back in March.

Tech Support???

I sincerely don't mean this to sound prejudicial. First off I commend anyone that can speak a second language let alone try to troubleshoot. My blame however, goes to Verizon because I can nearly guarantee if I call for something that I don't have... — read more

Problem with layoffs

Expecting a fair approach to layoffs from this company is futile. It always somehow happens that the best employees are cut, and those with the worst performance stay here to milk the company. Isn't this company working against itself by doing... — read more

Plenty of fat left to cut

We have more than enough fat left that needs to be trimmed not just through layoffs but through firings as well. Sadly, those people are the only ones who are safe here and don't have to worry about being affected. We lose good people while the... — read more

Step up for Failure

The new motto set up for failure. Can't wait for those Q3 numbers that will not be great just have to look at reporting and the stock market to firgure that one out.

VBG reorg

Literally it is like musical chairs. Leaders gave themselves promotions, more power, and just shifted themselves around. Meanwhile, true cuts are happening. Sad state of affairs.

Layoffs

In regards to layoffs it should be has follow and they should offer a voluntary layoff. Those that want to stay keep and those that want to go them off.

SMs get ready, YOU ARE NEXT!!!

Insider news - 6 months of changes

They rallied DMs and store managers last week to warn them about an explosion of layoff talk from this site. If you ask them they will confirm. They are worried about unions and don't want you to think another round of layoffs are coming until they... — read more

VCG OP&OO

Sincere compassion for anyone impacted. I was impacted in the first round back in Feb, but found a new role within OP&OO. My new team was not impacted in this round. Was this 2nd round planned all along, Or was this a reactionary move to... — read more

Hans

Your signal strength is a 1. You offered yourself a package and you should take it. It’s time you go home and sit on your Covid couch like the rest of Verizon’s leadership. BTW we all know that your signaling of virtue is not sincere due to the fact... — read more

Micromanagers abroad

Give some examples on how your manager tries to micromanage you. Maybe they stand next to you, not to help but maybe just listen to see if you are selling everything you are supposed to sell. Maybe they needlessly ask what you are working on every... — read more

Staffing issues remain a major issue

When is Verizon going to do something about the staffing issues in the corporate stores? So many people are out on short term either due to covid or whatever , sick calls are through the roof. Factor in all the vacation time and it’s a recipe for... — read more

Remember when leadership knew how to fight?

In the past, if Verizon posted results as poor as this quarter's, leadership, and the whole company was ready for a fight. There was a huge sense of urgency to build new strategies to take on the competition. But the non-American leadership of... — read more

Women of wireless

Just wondering is this still a thing? If it is wow the company is doing great !! I wonder if any group or segment of population would feel discriminated against . Thanks Hans !!!!!

Day 5

Now I know my ABC's! Won't you come and sing with me?

Day 4

You know the line. They ain't doing jack.

Wireless Retail Uniforms

Long ago Verizon used to use Lands' End for their Retail store clothing. Seems much more casual now days with jeans and limited color shirts. Does anyone know if you can dress how you want or what company provides their uniforms now?

Day 3

Of nothing from the board, Verizon and Hans.

Stock Price (GMAB)

Of course Verizon’s stock is down. EVERYTHING across the market is screwed. We’re entering a recession. Verizon has been around this before. They’ll be fine. Outside of that look around and buy up all the dips this beautiful market is blessing us... — read more

Of Verizon and hans not doing anything to improve share price.
