Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

They do not keep an eye on competitors closely enough

The question is whether the leadership here is even interested in what the competition is doing? I believe that every real leader would be worried if they noticed that customers are starting to increasingly prefer the services offered by competitors. The departure of the best employees to direct competitors is also very alarming.

We used to boast about being “the Leader”. Now we can’t tell our a$$ from a ho-e in the ground.

They watch other companies closely . Watch them take customers. Watch their stock price go up. Watch their better commercials on TV. Watch them bid on better spectrum. Watch them eat our lunch.

I would usually disagree with this. We seem to follow suit with whatever the other companies do. However, we have lately been more innovative with the d-mbest sh,t anyone could even conceive. So in that sense we are at the forefront of how to destroy a once unsinkable ship. Erickson was just a practice for the main stage.
