From what I heard and seen today just reconfirms how disconnected DM's and above are. The goals they were expecting everyone to hit was asinine. I live in the real world. No one cares about apple launch anymore. People are hurting cash flow wise. It IS cheaper on Amazon. Idfk how they expecting to keep this going. At least in the past they'd toss money at it and made the slamming worth while. No one is hitting these goals. I'd bet my commission...bonus...it ain't no check. That they readjust quote for this month next month, but not really enough. Just to send out a disconnected "You asked, we listened" email. They're urinating in our faces and claiming it's water.

When Steve Jobs daughter posts a meme implying that the 14 is no different than the 13 you know that the hype around an Apple launch is over. No Apple Calvary coming over the hill to save Q3 numbers.
The iPhone X and 12 were pretty big, at least in Telesales.
they knew. It was forecasted. That's why hans gave those speeches. Plus we had a whole two reps working in our store. What are we supposed to do with that? Can barely handle the people that need a sim card to get their phone working. Plus the reps learn after about 6 months that their extra effort doesn't pay them any more besides a pat on the back.
They sent out an email saying if people are off, let them be off, don’t adjust the schedule. They know what’s up.
Apple launches have been complete non-events for years. The apple sheep that have to have whatever new it is that apple sells are the only ones that give any cr-p at all and they typically do their preorders. This is how out of touch the so-called leadership at VZ really is and has been for quite some time. People that are shocked about VZ's performance this year are just stupid. The writing has been all over every wall for a long time. Wake up and get out. There is life outside of VZ.
I work at the Ridge. Actually thought launch was next Friday. Seriously, no one cares. I have seen so little movement. Flashback to 2013, the company literally stopped for Apple launch
