Layoff 2024?

I had heard, around the time of the last series of layoffs, that there will be another round in 2024. Has any information started disseminating about it yet? Do you know which sectors / jobs will be targeted this time? Honestly, I think this... — read more

Also, the grass is green and the water is wet

is LHH Services good for technologists?

Have you guys used the LHH services? I submitted my resume as a dev there but they seem to be yet another job board with the same job postings as on Indeed. They claim to have access to some private network of managers or something but I haven't seen... — read more

Someone please remind me why RTO is GOOD for us?

Every time I take even more than 10 seconds to think about it I just get angry. Walt made some comment in a town hall that they internally have the data that shows "we" are more productive in the office, but of course didn't share these... — read more

Done with this place

What a horrible week. Tech issues even after being overworked already. On top of that we have to know two trading systems and platforms. F leadership and Walt

Final Paycheck and Lump Sum Pay (For those who were impacted)

Termination date set to January 5th, I believe our January 5th paycheck is a full paycheck as it covers time period of up to December 29th, then the lump sum, Floating and PTO pay on January 18th paycheck, am I correct about this calculation?

Layoffs are not inherently bad

I could deal with layoffs if the leadership cut the fat where it is actually occurring instead of laying off key people from crucial roles in an attempt to boost profitability. The first option would make a positive difference, the one they are... — read more

Hypocrites

Instead of having my plan vacation time honored I’ll have to call in sick on Tuesday. Even though my manager and his VP are taking the full week off. There isn’t a single thing the CS&S leaders ask us to do that they are willing to do themselves. — read more

Gift Sick Hours

I heard you can gift sick hours to other employees. How do we do this? I feel like if I ask my manager they will catch on and realize I am leaving. I would rather have it go to people that deserve it and not the pool for people on maternity leave.
