Blame the feds!

How come Walt is allowed to blame the feds every time something goes wrong, lay us off, and then gets a raise like nothing bad happened?

Every day I feel more and more that I should work independently so I don’t have to continue seething that corporate vultures that infest this world face zero accountability for their actions and indeed are rewarded for it. I would feel much better even making a bit less knowing that I don’t have to work for amoral sociopaths.

Senior leader decides bank should buy long term treasure and mortgage bonds.
As a result of their decision, and causing the firm to lose a ton of money, they have saved the firm millions in not paying full bonuses
Said leader who made that decision should get a 200% payout!

Can the senior leaders mismanage this company further into the sewer? Senior officers normally are held accountable by the board and fired for incompetence such as buying 20 Year Treasuries when interests rates are rising, mishandling WFH during COVID, RTO debacle and layoffs.
