Store closing list

Have they posted the list of stores closing yet? I heard over half the company will close within a year.

Out of stock

I think the customers are getting wise to our out of stock issues. We keep telling them it’s the supply chain but other retailers have Brita in stock. We have no coffee, soda stream canisters, pillows. It’s getting really bad.

No more Baby returns

We no longer own buy buy baby because we essentially just put it up as collateral for this new loan. We can no longer accept baby returns because we no longer own the company.

Everything was leading to this

You don't have to be very wise to realize that the company has reached rock bottom and that there is hardly any way back. Everything they were doing was leading up to this point of no return. . . Do you remember the last good move made by our... — read more

Does anyone know what is really happening

The few customers we have are laughing at us saying we are going out of business and want merchandise for free or cheap and want to use coupons. Is the end really near?

No way to avoid bankruptcy?

I will only be here for a few more days, but because of some people who still haven't managed to get new jobs, I wish there was a way for the company to avoid bankruptcy. On the other hand, I really don't see how that would be possible anymore?

Even Vanguard is not safe from us

How understaffed is your store?

My store should literally have almost twice as many employees, without any exaggeration. Obviously, no one wants to work here anymore. This is not a reason to treat the remaining workers like dirt, because they could soon be without us too. If... — read more

I plan to stay until they lay me off

BBBY will be okay

The losses will be compensated through cuts in personnel and hours and they'll always be able to find enough desperate people who're willing to work in horrible conditions for low pay to replace those who refuse to take the abuse any longer... — read more
