You don't have to be very wise to realize that the company has reached rock bottom and that there is hardly any way back. Everything they were doing was leading up to this point of no return. . .
Do you remember the last good move made by our leadership? I do not. Run from here as soon as possible!

Who is going to pay for a loyalty rewards program for a company that is clearly going out of business? Oh, I know...people who want piggyback liquidation mark downs on top of any rewards benefits.

I had two good managers here in Illinois when I first started in 2016. I know one of them is gone to another job and I imagine the other might have as well. At any rate, they were demanding but very good and taught us to have our heads on a swivel to help customers. On the other side of things, I fortunately did not transfer to another store whose manager was daffy and got fired for throwiing a humidifier at a customer and the leads got away with far too much talking and such. One hid from any work at all. So I did have a good SM and AM at one time, and a very good DM who recognized effort. But that was years ago.
