Have they posted the list of stores closing yet? I heard over half the company will close within a year.

I can tell you a greater number than 100 of the landlords want BBBY out, valid lease or not. 53's landlord wanted it out when it failed to pay rent during COVID's initial impact. Their landlord did not care about leases. As far as they were concerned, the lease was already broken by BBBY. Funniest thing was that SM was denying this when it was all over the local news websites. Incredible.
it will never be that many unless they claim bankruptcy then its all of them. there aren't enough leases expiring this year. maybe 100 stores at most.
