Users are bucketed into Data Engineering and Software Engineering groups now, even split. Early sign for changes soon this week.

Heard a rumor that big cuts are coming this Friday while most of us are wfh. Some VPs/SDs are getting looped in to wrap up phase 2 by March. Though it'll go on till the end of Q4, looks like the bulk of it will be done sooner. Thoughts?

Lot of GAP leaders have 15 min meeting set up for tmrw with their direct reports. Either GAP will be hit hard or big org/role change. For the meeting set up to lay off people - are these 15 min meetings or 30 min meeting usually ?

Right now appointments to pick things up are very limited, inconvenient times, and for several weeks from now. Almost like rubbing in my face that i have nothing else to do.

Surprised to still see reporting structures like VP reporting to VP to another VP. And SD to SD to SD. How did they survive this layoff? Such hiring and promotion practices created this mess to begin with.

Have all meetings been 1-1 with leader (and HR)? Or have there been meetings in which multiple employees are informed as a group?

We are probably nowhere near the target number. This week is going to be a nightmare.

Does anyone have information about the non-compete? Will it be discussed during the call? I signed one years ago in a different role. Not sure if it’s still valid. Is it better to ask about it in the call or not?

Was there PSP component for those laid off so far? As per communication , employees will be given PSP for FY24 who are been laid off! But is that actually provided who left?
