Last Lake walk

Gen x age here, been here over 15 years. Based off phase one, it’s clear I’ll be aged out even though consistent HS CFEs. I’ll probably do a few lake loops today, say hi if you see me. It’s been a good ride, feels so awful this is how it ends.
See you at Lulu or Hoka.

I was sure I was going to be let go in phase 1 because I checked a lot (almost all) of the boxes. That’s not what happened. It’s not a sure thing that you’ll be out.

If you do not let go, please update here. I hope it won't happen to you...

Regardless of how you feel about management and the company as a whole. The beauty that Nike created in the WHQ campus is so much better than a soulless office complex

Eating lunch at the lake for possibly the last time as well.

Luckily Oregon is a beautiful place and we have many natural lakes. Highly recommend Lost Lake and Mirror Lake.

A job is a job. You will be just fine.

I recall my first year at Nike and the beauty of that walk and other hidden gems. Was amazing and was proud to take my family to campus. Then it dawned on me one evening that the berm is to keep people in and not out. I left 20 years ago.

Make your own lake walks and adventures, life will be so much sweeter for you.
