No direction on whether we are supposed to work from home or not. No guidance on how next week is supposed to go.
The only thing we have been told is we are phase 2.
How is it that other groups have direction and others have absolutely nothing?

If it makes you feel any better, I still haven’t been told that my entire team was liquidated, leaving only myself and one other person. Absolutely zero communication on what that means for me or if I will be moved to a new team, but I’m assuming that I’ll be gone soon as the only remaining Sr Dirs in the department have been ghosting us for two months. All of our work has been taken and reassigned to other people in other orgs with no explanation or communication. I found out that a project I helped kick off wasn’t actually stopped like I had previously assumed when I heard people talking about it in the halls. This place is a toxic nightmare and I’ve never felt less valued in my professional career, or life.
Amazing that the plan will be WFH next week, but wait until the Friday WFH day to send the official email. At least the leaders with any smarts told their teams, but agree it looks bad when half the folks officially know, the other half don't.
So, here's how it will play out.
1/3 of the folks, it won't matter, all they need is their laptop.
1/3 of the folks will have to drive in to get something tomorrow, Friday
1/3 of the folks will swoop in Sat, Sun, or EARLY Mon to grab what they need for the week.

You’ll always get more reliable information through rumors or third parties like this website. Internal communication has always struggled in times like these.
Sir Dir here. There will be an email tomorrow saying to stay home and WFH next week
There will be a note coming early tomorrow that include instructions on what to do. Sleep well tonight all.
+1 for absolutely nothing in my org. This is all so demoralizing.
