what is happening with the AI factories folks? Is the AI bubble unravelling or it is only Dell which is suffering? Thankfully I am away from the AI bubble which soon I expect to turn into doom and gloom. Time to park all your AI investments (incl. NVIDIA) into money market. Sell everything!

Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary sends harsh message on Intel stock
Source: https://www.thestreet.com/investing/stocks/shark-tanks-kevin-oleary-sends-harsh-message-on-intel-stock
"The U.S. government just announced it’s taking a stake in Intel, and let me be clear: I abhor this idea. America has thrived for over 200 years because the government stayed in its lane."
- Kevin O'Leary
"We let dead old companies die. I have no interest in taking my tax dollars and giving it to a company that has performed so miserably."
- Kevin O'Leary
"Intel should have been sold for car parts three years ago. I do not want to invest in it. Why would anyone want to own this thing. Take it behind the barn and shoot it"

Elliott is Still Around
Elliott recently increased its stake in PSX and now owns ~16 million shares.
So they’re not going anywhere.
For the haters
To respond to a post on Jan 5th titled "RIP Viasat continued", when the stock traded around $9... thank you for providing the FEAR for everyone to SELL. Because this was the perfect time to be GREEDY and BUY. Go Viasat. I don't think we'll be hearing much on this message board for a while.
U.S. taxpayers are now the largest shareholders in Intel.
I demand that all US taxpayers get steep discounts on all Intel products!

I am an investing and saving machine
I have more than $800k saved in liquid investments.
If I am laid off I will laugh out loud.
I feel sorry for those in debt with mortgages. Best of luck to you.
Government Intervention.
If our taxes bought 10% of Intel, we want the next chip free. Interesting thing to think about?

With Trump's 401k Expansion order, how will the Fidelity 401k change?
Been away from Fidelity for a while. I was wondering if the 401k expansion order the current cabinet is working on will effect how Fidelity's 401ks work.
As far as I know, it's just a bill, so nothing is guaranteed. But, if the bill passes, then 401ks will ideally have more potentially asset options to invest in. Those would be private market, real estate, cryptocurrency funds (NOT actual crypto), commodities (physical gold or gold contracts), infrastructure financing, and income. The Department of Labor is now working with the SEC to see how many of the 6 things can pass. Again, we don't know if any of them will pass. But if some of them do pass, then it'll be up to the employer to decide which of the options that are passed can be invested in.
So let's speculate. Of the six potential options, IF they become a real thing, which investing options would Abby and co. offer to Fidelity employees for their 401k? There's a lot of hulabaloo about the current state of dynamic work, but would this make Fidelity a more attractive place to work?
I know I mentioned this is the trump administration, but let's please keep political opinions out of this.
