Every org may not be culled on the same day. Check if your managers are on leave on those days.

Any idea on what the isp would look like? I really can't imagine it being so different from the Vsp. As isp's are random and not performance based. That would not be fair

I would expect them to discourage taking it. Managers want to pick the people they want to get rid of in the ISP instead of giving employees the choice with the VSP, and maybe lose people they didn't want to lose.

Despite a lucrative package, many I know are not taking the package. Life in GM will be tough in the coming months for sure. I am not taking it as the job market is lousy out there.

Do I qualify for Michigan unemployment if I go with the VSP? Also, when can I start collecting unemployment? Right away or I have to wait for a number of months.
