Just heard through the grapevine about some market directors who are leaving the company effective today.
What’s the deal with this merging of regions?
I get the general premise to merge and try to create the same, or better results with a lesser workforce and fewer tiers of management, but what are we talking about in terms of workes that will get RIF’ed? Certainly hope It’s not simple math... — read more
Anyone heard of Project Atlantic

What is it with PepsiCo and February 14?
Or at least the week of February 14? Of all the days and weeks in the year, why exactly is this such a good period for cuts and reorganizations? What makes it so special? It almost feels intentional in its pettiness. Although, nothing really... — read more

Long hours and no family life, for lousy pay and bad treatment
We’ve always worked a lot, but in the last couple of months, it has become unbearable. I don’t know if that’s a coincidence but with those extra loads of work came an inhuman treatment from our boss. When I think about what I go through and what... — read more
Two managers left in as many days
One was an a--hole so I don't mind, but the other was a decent person. My main worry is why did they leave so abruptly. Do they know something we don't? It's been a while since the last layoffs round, so I wouldn't be surprised something was coming... — read more
PwP gone?
Just heard PwP has been dumped. Will impact RnD and other functions associated significantly. Keeping my fingers crossed for the moment
What about the reorg after the Superbowl?
What about that rumor that there will be reorgs after the Superbowl? Well, the Superbowl is finished and I don’t see anything happening. All quiet at my location. Any info on that, or did this turn out to be just a rumor that wasn't true?
The Superbowl Halftime was a Snooze
Add c-appy Pepsi marketing to c-appy Pepsi innovation after watching the Superbowl Ads and Halftime show. Happy upcoming Valentine's m---acre to all!

Volunteer Layoff List
The smart thing to do is ask for volunteers wishing to retire early and bridge then to retirement. I've heard a lot of people would sign-up if it was an option.
Bradenton layoffs
Let’s hope the company finally cleans house in the ole’ boys network. The place resembles Young and the Restless, not a world class manufacturing plant.
QFNA and FLNA Layoffs in 2019
Do you have any updates?
We lost so many already
Not sure about other teams and departments, but we have lost so many people already that I honestly have no idea how we'll function if we lose one more person. But does the management care? Of course not. We will be expected to pick up even more... — read more
The ax falls after the Superbowl?

Bridging Retirement
With the layoffs last year some people got their retirements "bridged". What does this mean and at what age do they force retirement? Does anyone know or have experience with this?
There are other options out there
I left on my own terms a few years ago and it was best thing I ever did. It was a tough decision but living/working with that fear that every year was your last year at a company you used to love was no way to go through life. I miss the people but I... — read more
This is the most lay-off chatter I’ve ever heard

IT is a nightmare
This is horrible. I’ve been with the company 30 years and I always feel like I’m next to go. I am a valuable asset and they look at my like a cost. My age + years of service is 90, is that lucrative? This company is a sick psychological experiment

How much more money does he need to make? He’s filthy rich why deal with all the BS when you can love large and give your family every opportunity to enjoy life!
Need more layoffs
Most “born and bred” PepsiCo execs would have no idea how to operate on tight budgets.
When can we expect more layoffs?
This year has been really quiet on the subject of layoffs so far, which is for some reason making me even more nervous. Do we have any idea on when we can expect an announcement from PepsiCo management on more cuts? I'm pretty sure they are coming... — read more

Think about it folks
Think about it folks...Why did Indra step down, abruptly in my opinion. Why is she leaving the board in "Early 2019"? Did you watch her town hall where she was visibly shaken talking about leaving PepsiCo. Now we have Al leaving and I highly doubt it... — read more
