Once upon a time employees were a company’ Most valuable commodity. No more. PepsiCo has demonstrated how little they care. Admins always feel like we have no representation and no one has our backs. It’s true but admins are not alone. There are many who are not banded who have been treated poorly as well. I can only speak to admin mistreatment. Only banded folks get the respect. And admins are tasked with being the gatekeepers of smart spend however the smart admins are the ones who just do as their VPs ask. They get the raises they get the awards and gift cards and the ones who follow the rules are tagged as inflexible and unable to adapt. And here we have policies that we’re trying to abide and you have Banded people, the same who get all the respect, who are finding every way possible to break the rules. And the irony is that their managers approve with no questions asked. It’s all about poor leadership. We no longer have strong leaders. These Admins make excuses to get their VPs first class tickets or buy their VP water and soda thru their pcards and the highest earners get free beverages as the privileged class. It’s all b---s---. I feel the respect is misdirected and undeserving. It’s a sad place. And the admins who were cut were not even given a retirement party or gift after 30+ years. Why would the new “hip” young people want to be loyal to this company that just exhibited zero loyalty to its oldest and most loyal employees. They want no one who knows that this once was a great company who treated employees as people. We once all bled blue blood. No more.

40 admins in NY were cut. All older and all in the pension plan. Nice company
There were more layoffs and they targeted admins? I heard of the loss at the one Frito facility but nothing else.
