Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Take One For The TCS Team

For every screw up, FTEs jump in and bail out TCS. FTEs keep the failure rates down and expedite recoveries. TCS steps up and takes the glory. Leadership then uses it as an example of how independent TCS is in problem resolution and how incident rates are within reason. The more TCS looks self sufficient, the faster leadership wants to trim FTEs to cut costs. Pepsi has already made it clear, FTEs are disposable cost waste. So you few loyal IT people left, go ahead and jump in to rescue TCS. But if you do, stop whining on this site about tough your road is. Pepsi is anxious to get of you, if you are foolish enough to rush that process, then it’s your problem!!!

What should those FTEs say when told to help? No? Curious how many will be giving their 2 weeks notice in the next few weeks
