I can fully understand the globalization and moving into new labor markets,in which labor is cheaper, but this is outsourcing in turbo mode. I have nothing against other countries, but I find it somewhat perfidious that the most important part of the evolution of Pepsi was that is was in fact a US company, and now they are abandoning the same people that are a part of its identity

They’ve been hiring Mexicans instead of Indians lately. Still can’t understand sh*t when I talk to them on the phone. At least I’m a native Spanish speaker so I can save them the embarrassment.
This is an Indian company not a US company.
Just take a stroll around HQ and see for yourself.
Hijacked by Indians.. Laughing as how Ik outmaneuvered our simple minds with her genteel facade.
Good luck all.
So it's a multinational company, they should move back to Europe, they can move their wonderful HQ in New York to India, Syria, Egypt, China, Libya, France or some other shole 3rd world country that better represents their demographics and all the junkfood they sell. The USA doesn't need them anymore. Just remember to bring some soap and deordorant when you move there.
Pepsico is a multinational company , why is it still important that it's founded in the US by an immigrant from Europe
I was called yesterday asking if I'd like to come back for 'white glove treatment' of some bus apps.
Sadly it would be as a contractor and for TCS. I regretfully declined so long as its TCS.
Did let her know it's not that I dislike PepsiCo, it's that I would in no way want any association with TCS. Happy to come back if they re-hire.
Well, less than half of PepsiCo's sales are in the USA now, and falling fast, so that's about right?
