In New Mexico, we got a WebEx meeting with about 15 people that were all told they were getting fired!!! Got the invite 15 minutes before the start of the meeting. Way to make you feel like a number.
Is age a determining factor?
From what I've noticed, most of the people let go here (Ohio) are older, which makes very little sense to me (they have the most experience.) What's the situation in other locations?
How they notify you?
Can someone answer how they notify you? I heard some people were notified by phone. I'm not sure if they were all remote/absent. Even if they were, it sounds inhumane. Cannot say that I'm surprised, though.
