Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Sharing Confidential Info

I am perplexed with what employees are discussing here – there is a lot of confidential Molina information here.

This information is proprietary to Molina and it should not be discussed in a public forum like this. Discussing RIFs in public is against your terms of employment and there may be consequences for doing so.

In addition, discussing severance, compensation, or any other details is also prohibited and it should not be disclosed or commented on.

Discussing compensation and working conditions are rights protected by the national labor relations board (NLRB). Discussing compensation (including severance) is discouraged by many companies, but they cannot prohibit discussing it. This is to ensure that there isn't systematic discrimination (e.g. paying women at the same level less than men, etc.)

I show the same professionalism toward Molina as they showed me. In other words, NOTHING is out of bounds for exposure.

OP - do you have any compassion? Today is not the day to preach and be all business - look around you and you will see devastation - people who put in many years are being walked out. Many careers have been interupted. I had a pregnant team member walked out today. There was a mother of 3 with a disablity that lost the job. People are anxious and tired of this three month long tirade. And we do not even know if it's over. So OP, be a human.

Discussing pay / severance is prohibited by what? Who does it benefit to not discuss pay and benefits? I'll give you one clue: NOT THE EMPLOYEES!!!

My salary and my severance package are not proprietary to Molina.

You're perplexed? A lot of people are perplexed because of the way Molina's management and board are behaving nowadays. Why don't you slither back to your cube and start figuring out what you're gonna do when they come calling for you! Also, STFU!

To whoever posted this: I am appealed with your lack of compassion, tact and common sense. Today is a bad day to preach and sell Kool-Aid. Just let us be a little bit please. A day or two and then you can go back to your mantras and corporate double-speak...

Tell me, OP, just how can one who's just been laid off violate the terms of employment of a job which they no longer have? Methinks you haven't quite thought this through.

@vhr - you are so fake, a troll. I am on a Sprint mobile phone and currently I am sharing my IP address with probably 2000 people here in Long Beach. Aside from the IP address there is nothing else they can capture - so even if Molina was to get my IP address I'd be sharing it with 2000 people, they cannot trace it back to me. Finally, how would Molina even get that IP address - aside from hacking there is no way they can do this. If they hack it, it's illegal, they would get slammed with a 100 million dollar lawsuite and people would end up in jail - I dont think anyone would even bother to try anything like this as most folks in IT are on the side of the worker. So, troll - go away.
