Let these layoffs be a lesson to all of us. We are faceless and are simply names and numbers on an excel spreadsheet to executive leadership. All the motivational b---s--- of "one molina" and "your extended family" is corporate speak to get you to kill yourself by working long hours just to get a "thank you" email from a VP.
Don't go the extra mile, only do what's expected of you, and leave the office once 5pm hits. If you want more money or a promotion then look outside of the organization you're in. Be loyal to yourself and do what is best for you and your family. With this type of mentality you'll be less stressed and happier in general.
Hopefully these layoffs can create better opportunities for everyone affected.
