Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Memo to my now former supervisor:

I'm sure you were completely correct when you selected me for this layoff. After all, you spoke to me once or twice during your tenure in your latest position. I'm sure you evaluated me fairly. And during your time pushing papers around and otherwise tying up your time adding zero value I'm sure you became thoroughly familiar not just with what I do now, but also with the contributions I made long before your arrival on the team (or the company).

You're right, I didn't take credit for others' work, berate my competition, extol my own abilities, or make obvious, superfluous statements in meetings in order to elevate others' perception of me. I had hoped any decent manager was skilled enough to see through that BS. I was wrong. Thank you for mentoring me in one key area: survival.

I now know talent means nothing. I'll be sure to play all the vile games. I'll be relentless and ruthless in tearing down others and remembering that knowledge sharing or assisting others is not actually valued, despite the slogans and values the corporation claims are important that week.

I'll play the system and pretend that I agree that EVERY-FREAKING-ONE is supposed to aspire to be a "leader." Being a manager is the absolute culmination of self-actualization. In future, the company will cut the true fat: absolutely worthless jobs like yours. Go back to where you came from, have a nice life, and "@!$% you too!!!"

The level of pettiness in this post is out of this world! Wow! It's one thing to be angry or upset but this likely paints an accurate portrait of how you conducted yourself in the work environment. Perhaps you should have been your own voice rather than sit quietly on the sidelines? However, it is only in this forum that you choose to vent...even after being terminated, you still hide behind anonymity. The irony of it all...

Goodness, really? I was compelled to voice something seeing these negative posts. We are all being affected by the changes, yes, unless of course, you're Heartless as many have mentioned about Supervisors or Manager's. Many of them have No clue of how to accomplish or lead a professional team. However, while I've been with Molina, I have worked with and met such enthusiastic, driven, and ambitious people, which I am greatful for. If anything else, be thankful for something you might have learned from a coworker.

Just be honest!

Well...that escalated quickly. I hope you find peace in the near future whenever you may go from here. Good luck to all of there!

This is why I no longer give my all at jobs. I just do the bare minimum and after 8 hours I clock tf out.

What a heartless company just when I think I've seen as low as they can go they surprise me yet again. They have laid off numerous employees that have contributed immensely and given up family and health for the betterment of the company. These same employees have been laid off days before Christmas, or now they are due to have a baby within days, or need major surgeries while keeping those that are willing to lie and step on others for the next position up the corporate ladder. Corporate America s---s.
