Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Any employees unionized?

I know that at least one clinic in Michigan was union. Are any of the other employees under a union contract? Specifically nurses and health professionals? Might be worth exploring if this is the new reality so that the company has to be transparent and treat workers with respect during tough times.

The unionized clinic in Michigan is closing or has already closed.

Im surprised that the large unions haven't been able to force at least some states to require that companies providing Medicaid services have a labor peace agreement, meaning that the company can not spend money to hire union busting consultants to keep workers from organizing.
