If you know where to look, you know there's no helping the stock
All those id--ts buying up the stock on Reddit are excited about what they're seeing. Stalking the stores and talking about how fantastic they look and posting their receipts. Smh. Claim the stores are slammed when they go and also posting pics of... — read more
The quality of customers has gone down
Ten years ago I could fully expect not to be yelled at, have profanities hurled at me, or be expected to do things that are not remotely within my duties (no, I will not babysit your child while you shop) while at work. None of that is true anymore... — read more
What “Owned Brand” will be the next to be liquidated?
My guess is Our Table. Way too much inventory and middling sales combined with just horrible packaging. Cake domes for $10 and free shipping = we’d be better off to give them away free for pickup only. What a packaging nightmare for SFS. Most will... — read more
Just so we are clear
Every store that sold more than 60% of ws products these last two days lost 15% of margin per transaction no matter how high your sales dollars were. Ask a dm to see a profit and loss statement for your store and see what happens. just ask. LET ME... — read more
Wayfair should buy BBB
I just noticed a paper flyer in with my other weekly supermarket circulars for Wayfair, and upon first glance, I thought it was a BBB flyer! The style and items in the ad reminded me of BBB from days of yore. Although none currently operate, it seems... — read more

Whispers of layoffs out of Union are growing louder...
some mid level management are beginning to have difficult conversations and are preparing their staff for the worst. You can expect high priced salary employees to be replaced by high priced consultants.
Leadership call this morning...
HR jumped on the zoom to basically tell us that there are services to deal with loss, change, and grief. This is the standard material they tell you when you are getting laid off. The ax is coming down...
Hours
Hours are a joke! Not safe in the buildings . Whenever they give you hours for project they just steal it from somewhere else. I understand sales = hours. With hours this low we will never get sales again.
Bed Bath and Begone
They decided to bring back the old brands they got rid of. Will this bring the customers back or is it too late?
We need to get back to the basics
If they truly want to fix this and turn it around they are going to have to put money back into payroll and give the stores back some control. Let stores get back on track with merchandising and inventory and customer service. Go back to thebasics... — read more
Are Buy Buy Baby stores really doing that much better?
I find it hard to believe, judging by the one near me. But somebody mentioned that there is even a possibility of converting some underperforming locations to Buy Buy Baby, so who knows. Still, if that's true, why would there be ongoing talk about... — read more

How many underperforming stores are there?
I am surprised that the store where I work is still not closed.
Hitting E-Commerce
Mass layoffs happening at E-Commerce centers, although something like this was to be expected with the new CEO, just seems like it’s a sinking ship at this point. If neither the stores nor the shipment centers are doing well, then not much can be... — read more
Changes are good!
Change is good. Sometimes, we need a good shake up and reality check in order for us to really open up our minds and eyes to know when it’s time to move on. The uncertainly of this company is not worth the stress. Now is a good time to move on. Good... — read more
Foolish not to start looking
Corporate workers you are fools if you don’t work on your resume and actively start looking. The end is near and being laid off is awful.
Sign off or let go?
So if your full time and don’t sign off on having open availability, work at any store, or do any and all jobs I’m guessing BBB will let you go.
USM pulls crews
USM if you don't know does all the floor cleanings and floors in remodels. They have told all flooring crews to stop as of today and not do any BBB stores due to non payment. They have left remodels half done. Wow, we are on a sinking ship.
Staffing guidance
This, in my opinion does not look good.

You can get a job anywhere. This market is completely open. If you like getting abused then you deserve to work here. Your stores are tanking your stock is a joke.
Anything positive to happen
Every new day at BBBY is worse than the previous one. It seems that it is futile to wait here for anything positive to happen which would benefit the employees?

Put controls back in the stores
