I am surprised that the store where I work is still not closed.

I wouldn't use the underperformance as a measure for closure. I agree with what a person said the other day about leases running out and landlords running out of patience.
Heard stores in Florida are closing. Tampa, ft myers, charlotte county and Sebring. Sarasota and naples
From what I’ve seen, sales are down double digits across the district. Percentage may vary but the fact that they are all down does not.
The situation is dire.

Bedsheet Brand Help!
For decades I have used the 500 thread count Wamsutta Pima cotton sheets. I bought several sets back in 2019 and am now down to one set that hasn’t gotten worn down and just learned Bed Bath discontinued that brand (was exclusive to them) and replaced them with a junky threadbare flimsy brand. So now I need a new brand of durable but soft/comfortable sheets. Any suggestions? Thanks!
The top performing stores in the company are still down 10 to 15% over the last year. Buy buy baby stores are up 5 to 10% across the board.
There is serious consideration for converting many locations in to Buybuybaby stores, which would decrease saturation for existing bed Bath and beyond locations. For example, if there are three stores in the market, 2 get converted to buybuy baby, and the remaining bed bath store sees an increase in sales because it’s left as the only location in the market...
If you’re at a bed Bath and beyond location with a buybuy baby nearby.... those are unfortunately candidates for stores that will close.
Some are worse than others….but essentially they are all underperforming now.
Hahahahah
All of them.
