Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Just so we are clear

Every store that sold more than 60% of ws products these last two days lost 15% of margin per transaction no matter how high your sales dollars were. Ask a dm to see a profit and loss statement for your store and see what happens. just ask. LET ME GUESS .. what is a profit and loss statement right? Omni was 80% of traffic and does NOT fully count for stores!!! The negative margin transactions do. DOMO counts that. Not BOPIS!!!

Everything sold at a + 60% loss before any associated shipping costs for orders.
Tells you right on the scanner.

'wake up'? did anyone think we were MAKING money from this 'sale'? the profit margin is what, 60, 65%? and we're selling everything for 80% off. it was like when we started with the owned brands and just wanted to get rid of stuff, things were selling at negative profit margins. i guess some money is better then none, but it's definitely not a winning strategy

you fools. we need to get rid of the product somehow. marking it down to next to nothing is the only way to do it at this point. wake up.

Omni was 80% of traffic? Omni doesn’t count towards any traffic lol, traffic is just how many people walk through the door.
