USM pulls crews

USM if you don't know does all the floor cleanings and floors in remodels. They have told all flooring crews to stop as of today and not do any BBB stores due to non payment. They have left remodels half done. Wow, we are on a sinking ship.

i'll trust the post that's well written that seems to be from USM over the district or corporate denials. "where's your proof?" proof "oh yeah right, someone just HAPPENS to have information after being asked to provide it???"

Sure..the company being discussed just happens to post after a couple posts asking the source of the OPs post..they just "happen" to be reading this board? Also "their" post is a bunch of ..you know what

This story is not entirely accurate. While it's true that BBB is millions in arrears to USM, we have not completely cut BBB off. I have been told that we have temporarily altered our strategy because of lack of payment as follows: USM typically pays its providers when service is completed, signed off from the store and then invoiced to us. The new policy is that our vendor network has been informed that they will be paid when BBB pays us.
So it will be up to the individual providers as to whether the accept on-going or new work for BBB. If a provider declines to perform a service, we, because of our own overhead, will make one additional attempt to find a provider to perform the service. If the second provider declines, the service will be cancelled with the location. These are the actual facts of the current situation.

Not surprising I was with bed bath during the good days and bills weren’t paid and we had tons of cash. So who knows what’s going on they could be going through contract negotiations. But with all the issues going on I’m sure that’s not that case just being hopeful for all of you still there. Good luck

Not surprised. It’s amazing they had their services for as long as they did.

New task on zipline.
Nightly mopping of the racetrack.
Just call someone in to do it.

I figured they'd either limit or stop service to save money but I didn't think they'd just stop paying.
