If bed bath & Beyond is set on winning back the college customer how can they do it when their college stores have 390 hours leading up until move in and then 900 hours for move-in week then down to nothing there is no planning there is no training there is no hiring there is nothing. Just put another nail in the coffin....

Just an update, many stores in midwest that they are closing in Sept 2022 are in college towns. Apparently that college business is kaput. Unless you want to pick stuff up at Goodwill!
The OP may be the longest sentence known to man. Punctuation is your friend!
pack and holds were a great idea for years, but between store closures and the convenience of amazon (who is advertising to college kids right now), it's pretty pointless. why have a store miles away hold a few items for a month when they can just order things we sell and much much more from amazon, and get it delivered within a day or two?
Pack and holds down year over year. Off site storage is more thatn 3 miles away.
Nightmare in the making. GLTA!
All of you nonbelievers. The beautiful designs of Novogratz will surely pull us through. All the patterns mesh so well together and their price aren't at all over the top. All of that merchandise will fly off of the shelves. The Just Say Novo bird pillow alone will save the company. Such a brilliant collaborative effort with those decorative designers.
Not my monkey not my circus. Typical Bedbath way, too little too late byeeeeee!
It does not seem like they care about the college season. Stores are running on minimal hours and cannot sell to the college customer. The one floor associate is usually ringing or pushing freight. How do we attempt to get out of this ho-e if we cannot maintain normal operations?
we have the same issue, we are just flexing up the part time hours, allowing ot to our ft teams and trying to bring in some friends and family to use the hours.
