Nobody is getting laid off tomorrow

I really wish people would stop talking out of their asses and scaring others for no reason. When the D-Day approaches, we'll all know.

Question to those laid off

For those of you who have your group laid off, was the call with your manager individually or was it a group call? Was HR present on the call, or just management? Thanks

Oct 27 layoffs confirmed

Evidently tomorrow will be a sad day for a number of people across the company. My best wishes to anyone affected

WFAM for sale.

How much can WF get for WFAM unit? IMO I would estimate Between $5-7 Billion. Morgan just paid $7 Billion for Eaton Vance who have around $500 Billion Asset Management division. WF has between $500 and $600 Billion under AM.

Was Carlie hired by BOD to sell WF to another Company?

It sure looks like that’s what he is doing. Perhaps that was what BOD wanted and hired him to do. Otherwise, they would of fired him by now. Considering the market share of WF is down almost 60 percent since he was hired. And he already started... — read more

The reason Auto hasn't had layoffs

Given how tiny of a blip Auto's revenues are to the enterprise, combined with the inherently dead-end nature of used car loans, and everyone basically forgets that Auto even exists. Auto will likely continue to enjoy numerous "managers" with fewer... — read more

401 Contribution

With the change from quarterly to yearly I’m changing my 401 investment to 6%. I was doing significantly more but I feel like is WF is going to do the bare minimum, then I should as well. I will probably take the difference in what I was doing and... — read more

401K match is in stock, not cash

Let’s not forget that the match is in company stock 🤮, not cash. This is less expensive to Wells, for tax reasons. The employees who don’t automatically move it out are down 58%. Maybe that is what we should all be fighting for is a cash match rather... — read more

It's a 6% match not dollar for dollar

I keep seeing all these inflated figures on the 6% WF match on the 401K for over $250K employees . The max an employee can contribute is $19500.00, increases to $26000.00 if over 50. So the 6% match will be between $1170.00 and $1560.00 for those... — read more

Interesting JPM does not match over 250M

I decided to go look and it seems 250 is the number at JPM - what a coincidence??? I found the info from multiple sources on Glassdoor - wonder if anyone has their benefit book - then us JPM Jr serfs can get more ideas of what we are in for,

Why stay?

Whining is getting old. No one forces unhappy employees to stay. If you decide to stay then get over it. If you want to leave then leave. Empty threads are useless and laughable.

Wage theft minnesota

Had to sign an acknowledgement form indicating all non exempt employees are to record ALL hours over time included. My manager still wants me to get his approval and take comp time instead.

Severance changes in 2021

If you're upset about 401K and healthcare benefits, wait until you see separation pay (severance) changes coming. We've been meeting all year to iron out the details. The 2021 changes will likely jump start the sizable "organic" attrition WF is... — read more

5 consecutive weeks of 60+ hours worked

I am at the point of being so exausted that I am not sure that I can continue working like this any more. Also, the work is so stressful and having an extreme OCD manager does not help. I am at a crossroad and I am seeing my options as: 1)... — read more

401K - management backed down

Hi all - I work for a retail company and our mgmt is hinting that our 401k may be suspended. It's my understanding that you were in a similar position and that the management backed down. I cannot find references to it. Would someone be able... — read more

Charlie Scharf champion of Mediocracy

How much do you get if laid off?

I’d like to make sure I understand Wells Fargo policy given it may affect me. From what I understand unless you are fired for gross misconduct/s—ing at your job you get a minimum of 4 months pay + PTO + 401k contribution in 2020. Two months as an... — read more
