He is not qualified to be the Head of IT. Not sure how long it will take for the BOD and Charlie and Top Share Holders to realize that.

It would be a rather "pleasant" environment, the Technologies department, except for all of the layoffs that are occurring, or are planned to occur in the future.

Personally I do like Saul's meetings. I think he tries to add in a little humor to keep it from being too boring. His meeting today was somewhat encouraging to those left in Technology. The technology college for free learning! That is a really good thing. Not paying to take training courses in IT.
New applications developed should be able to be transferred to the CLOUD right away, that will take some new training to accomplish. Agile is in high demand now for jobs at other companies, to have Agile experience. People are leaving because they find a better job at other companies, he did say. Snow in NY, calls about severe storm warning, with lot's of snow and potential for power outage and bad driving conditions, etc. guess I would not want to turn off my phone either as the emergency information is a need to know. It is good he plans for even more Technology employees to be full time internal employees and not contract employees!!!! He is rather funny, with the cricket and the coffee sipping. Seems to be a very down to Earth type of person. No acting. Just who he is and what he is really like.

Where does Saul and WF get all the gibberish/buzzwords? He seems pretty enthused about all sorts of random nonsense and magical thinking. I think we are seeing the peak of this guy's career.

Saul is a glorified scrum master/project manager playing a part of the Head of IT. Not exactly sure how he got to the top here in WF. He must be really good friends with Charlie and or someone from BOD. He tries so hard to appear like he is just a regular guy who understands us. Him announcing every time that he is about to take a sip of coffee to appear that he is just a regular JO who drinks coffee just like you and me looks so fake that I really want to puke. All the hand gestures and making faces, he is really not a good actor.

lmao – nice summation from OP. I wasn't on this call. But apparently he gets a call from somebody all the time, but it's not for him and he doesn't know why they keep calling him. I mean come on Saul, turn off the ringer before the call.

Interesting tid bits on architecture. It must be on radar for now given he was on an architecture call last week.

You would also think he would know being in technology a public cloud isn’t such a great idea either.
