New pay scale or severance... You choose

Big layoffs coming with the new pay scale being put into place. Obviously voluntary though. ERs making 80-100+ being told their new pay is 60 or the door? Some severance but not like it used to be. To quote Maynard James Keenan...'learn to swim... — read more

Employment Prospects after working at UOP

Are employers (not for-profits) reluctant to higher UOP employees? Especially in higher-ed? I don't know. I hope not. Unless one is a C-Level employee, the experience is comparable and valuable, and their hands shouldn't be dirty. But could potential... — read more

How are you ERs that have been trained to call new potential students enjoying your first day calling new leads? Here in the QC we are laughing. We know we are doomed but are actively looking for new jobs. Good luck to you all. Remember those ERs not... — read more

Enrollment layoffs

So, after yesterday's meeting (vague as always), do you all think there will be Enrollment layoffs? I only ask because they need enrollment to ENROLL. So, layoffs seem a bit counter-productive. Thoughts?

Honest thought

If we have any hope of becoming a profitable company, let’s stop sales pitching our product and create content thank speaks for itself. Quality and identity sells itself. Really, this is the best we can do????

Why

This is not to place blame. I know you ERs are getting slapped around. For nursing RN to BSN. Why so few ERs answering calls from QC? QC is setting more callbacks than transferring.

No specifics known. Heard faculty and some groups at Riverpoint.

"I'm not here to make any friends."
