On a call this week P. Cohen said and I quote, " there will be cutbacks we are not making all of our goals".
The budgets/quotas are not being met so there will be more layoffs.
If you are at a teach out location there is no reason to keep you much longer.

They talk about student outcomes and stories; how about employee outcomes? Are we really now a company culture of just money? Education is about building and thriving on outcomes. Money is about greed. It’s sad because Dr Sperling cared about people and desired profit. Now we eliminate people, reduce service and demand profit. What is the value of ethics?
Mr company president if this gets to you, what is your legacy going to be and how will your grand kids describe you?

Im assumimg there were TWO calls on Wednesday? ? One was Pete, execs, management and the other the rest onif the college? Im the enrollmwnt rep who wrote the post saying he didn't say that, ans he didnt directly. Also, my manager is highly transparent, would have memnuined sometgimg luke that HAD beenPetey said it.
If you are Not a Manager then you werent on that call. He said there will be cutbacks and we are no where close to making our quota.
Of course there will be more layoffs. Until the final day there will be. Wake up.
Peter did mention the need to right size (aka layoffs) in the call.
Also in enrollment here. I was the employee call he did. Person below is correct. However, I see a EM wrote initial post, so if ole Pistol Pete said that on another call, then I am not aware. But the person below is pretty spot on. We had a Enrollment Manager quit this week. Right before “big” January. I am sure UOP is happy. They just cut a EM salary. Spread more work to others to compensate the one less EM
Im enrollment, I HIGHLY dislike this place, and I was on that call yesterday(12.13.17). Please stop spreading rumors. He did NOT say that. What he said was we DID meet our goals, exceeded them in fact, HOWEVER,IF THERE IS A NEED TO DOWNSIZE stemming from lack of enrollments, there could be more layoffs in small batches.
But then he sent an email contradicting what he said in his call. What a two face piece of crap. Teach out locations including enrollment you are gone! Sorry but happy holidays
